Valentine Door Hangers~

I found these door hangers on clearance back in January at Hobby Lobby

and figured the kids and I could create something with them

for Valentines in February and here is what we created:

Pancakes & Pudding~ Valentine style!

Tonight for dinner pancakes were requested!

I figured I would throw the Valentine spirit into them

and for dessert whip up a Valentine pudding~ Mmmm

The pics didnt turn out too clear but I made stacks of

Heart pancakes drizzled in syrup...

and for dessert I made a strawberry creme pudding-

garnished with marshmallows & a maraschino cherry!

YUMMY!!


Ohhh and YES we like SUGAR at my house...
and NO we dont usually eat 75% sugar induced meals~
It was a special night...
I do try to include vegeys every once in awhile! ha ha


Pancakes and Pudding night was a success though!!

What to do on a rainy day & your stuck inside~

Man, I'm such an outside person!!

I like to be in WARM air and feel the breeze,

this weather and WINTER is killing me man! ha ha

Soo today since its raining and gail force winds are going on outside ~

I set up a little PUTT PUTT station in the living room

so the kids could play with something new yet

practice their TIGER WOODS skills in putting! ha

They actually both enjoyed the PUTT PUTT adventure

and it kept them entertained for at least an hour~

(Hayden could have done it longer Im sure

he may have a new sport?!)

She got one in the bucket...YEAH!!!

Tee off time next week~

is 10am TUESDAY! ha ha ha

Valentine Bingo Game~

I found this game off another cool moms blog that she found in a magazine...

I thought it was cute and could be used every year ~

(as long as we had stock of conversation hearts! hee)

But, the kids are still a little young and need help playing but in a few years

Im sure this game will be a Valentine tradition for my family!

WHO DOESNT LOVE BINGO!! hee

The cards were easy to make and laminate

while playing Valentine Bingo...

'Lyza Jane loved cheating and just adding hearts to her board

when we werent looking...ha ha

The BINGO game was easy to make and

it should keep for years & years...hopefully!

I made a box of BINGO CALLS that match the bingo card boxes exactly,

and that BINGO CALL box can never be eaten or else

the game would not work right of course...

We have seperate EXTRA conversation hearts that we use as covers

on the bingo cards that CAN be eaten~

(My kids were running out of COVERS for their game board

toward the end, they ate too many hearts!)

I, of course had to help them this year find their

bingos but they still enjoyed the game...

well at least eating the hearts while playing I think!! ha ha

But this was still a cute and easy game to create

and I really think it will be fun to get it out and play every year in February!

Aunt Tommi and Randi today~ (Christmas in February!)

It was a COOL surprise and everyone was excited to see

what was in the box!!

for sending this colossal box filled with presents!

All the candy peeps, M&Ms, coloring books and toys

were really too much...but the kids sure did LOVE IT ALL!!

You two spoiled them to much...

Monster Truck~

I want to ride the PONY!

Soo my pretty lil princess and myself had a day

to ourselves "Just the Girls"~

Mommy wanted to go to Kmart to look for bed sheets

for the new bed we are planning on buying for 'Lyza Janes

March birthday coming up.

Well, of course when we pulled into the parking lot of Kmart

'Lyza Jane immediately yelled she wanted to ride the pony! ha

Soo here is my pretty lil' princess...

Valentine Cards for 'Rannie & My-Hope a.k.a. the GRANDMAS~

We made our very much LOVED grandmothers each a

Valentine today & will mail them off tomorrow ~

(as soon as the glue dries! hee)

Hayden made this special Valentine for 'Rannie~

He cut out the RED hearts all by himself...soo cute!

the ones that look like pacmans...those are the hearts! hee)

I love him soo.

'Lyza Jane created a Valentine for My-Hope~

Of Course Mommy helped cut out all the hearts for her but the
design and glueing of the card were all her own~

That is her name in the left corner...

at least that is what she thinks is her name?!

ha ha

We plan to mail these out tomorrow...

We hope that our special grandmothers receiving these handmade cards

will feel all the "LOVE" that was packed inside and sent in them

when they open the card~

Valentine Candy Necklaces~

I found this Valentine Candy necklace making kit at

Wally-world for less than $3.00 !

(which was awesome since I almost bought one

at Hobby-Lobby for double that)

Anywho, the kids and I had a fun time making them and they

were super easy too...the only problem was the kids kept

eating their candy beads while creating! hee hee

'Lyza Jane said she wanted to make a bracelet~

Hayden wanted to make a necklace~

She had already gnawed on her heart charm while making the bracelet! ha

Now the Valentine bags are OFFICIALLY ready to be sent off!

Making Valentines for our friends~

Sooo we wanted to send some St. Valentine

surprises to our friends for Valentines Day...

So we made sweet valentine goody bags today~

The kids had fun filling the bags with all the goodys

The bags were filled with:
Chocolate hearts
1 Valentine fruit-roll-up
Strawberry Creme Kisses
1 Valentine balloon
&
1 heart sticker



We only have to make the candy necklaces
and fill out the Valentine Cards then we can mail them
off at the post office to our friends everywhere
that we love soo much!!
Hopefully they are surprised with happiness when they find

a Valentine in their mailboxes~

Today is February 1st, 2009...

only 13 more days till Valentines Love Day!

Grandma My-Hope bought the kids some

window decor to spruce up the windows for Valentines...

'Lyza Jane had fun decorating the windows with me today~
