Trying to get a pic of them infront of the pretty mums
and pumpkins but the sun made them squint...

A cool Skeleton-Giant walking the streets of downtown Franklin~
'Lyza Jane wanted nothing to do with him! ha ha
Hayden shook his hand though~
My daredevil child fixing to do the BUNGEE-JUMP thing
It was fun...until the guy made him go too high
then he was through and looked like he was gonna throw up! ha
The clown made Hayden a Viking hat~

He made Lyza a hat with a flower on it

Hmmm....what is this really?

COWABUNGA DUDE!

Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtle a five!

'Lyza Jane taking a break from the toddler area as wellA pic break with MOMMY at the Pumpkin Fest!

On the way home from Franklin, TN, off Hwy 41-A
we passed a sign that said pumpkins $1.00!
Too cheap to pass up so we turned around and got a few.
The small ones like 'Lyza Janes were only $.50!
I should have bought more! ;-)

Hayden picked out his own pumpkin...
of course he picked the one
with character but for only a $1.00 ~
he could have whatever weird looking pumpkin he wanted!

I totally recommend going to
the PumpkinFest in downtown Franklin, TN.
It was our first time but it was well worth the
drive to have a day of practically FREE fun!
They had tons for kiddos to do with MASSIVE quantities of FREE candy!
(Yeahh for parents!)

But I think everyone had a great time...
thanks to My-Hope (grandma) who invited us
to go and even drove us 'CRAZIES' there!

~Dedicated to my PaPa - R.I.P.~

I havent had the chance to blog about the kiddos lately
(practically not at all this month really)~
but it has been because we were visiting my (grandpa) 'PaPa' at his home
and then he was put into the hospital where I visited him
and my family holding vigil for him by his bedside.
My Papa lost his battle with brain cancer this month on October 14th.
He was 83 years young and truly a blessing in my life!
My babies loved their Great-Papa very much and will miss him
and miss visiting him at his home together with Nanny (their great-grandma).
It has been a sad couple weeks for my family and to be honest
October is a real bummer for me now....
But there is still plenty to live for and happiness to make here on earth I realize~
and my Papa was always so full of life and never let things get him down sooo
I want to dedicate this post to my Papa...
You were a true hero!

~Learning about the Letter F ~

Found a VERY interesting book at the library
just by chance while browsing the aisle shelves...
It was too perfect not to pass up for my Letter 'F'
week lesson plan!! HA HA
I mean a FROG~
named FARLEY...
thats FARTS!!
hee

*Priceless*
This was a cute book too below about the FARMERS FAT CAT
~we have a FAT cat too but we call him...Mr. Kitty...MEOW!

Hayden was doing really well writing his letter "F's"
I love how he colored his fish to look like FLOUNDER from the little mermaid!
He came up with it all on his own, which I thought was cute! awllll

Our letter 'F' lunch this week was...
yummy FRUIT Salad with letter 'F' sandwiches~

Our big letter 'F' Art project was FINGER PAINTING!!!

Lyza Jane's work is very colorful with a flair of modern edge...
ha ha jk

Hayden was having fun practicing his letters...
He was also doing some pretty good pumpkins too~

Lyza Janes finished 'FINGER' painting masterpiece~

Haydens finished masterpiece but Daddy had to add his racing #83
on Haydens artwork...
We didnt do much this week for the letter 'F' as in field trips
and such... PaPa (great-grandpa) has been very sick fighting his brain cancer soo we have been visiting him at his house this week~
soo our preschool activities have suffered a little.
Overall we still learned about the letter 'F' fairly well so we
will start on the letter 'P' next week.
